How It Works!!

Trophy Rack Track uses RFID chip technology to give your trophy a unique serial number.  After purchasing this Chip, you can attach it to the trophy in many ways. Our recommended way is to drill a small hole in the Pedicle of the skull plate. Second choice is to install it in the rear base of the antler. The hole is very small and when covered with the glue is almost unidentifiable. We recommend putting the chip in the Right antler, however it could be installed almost anywhere on the mount.

After the chip is installed, we recommend you register the chip on our website, see the button below. This is a secure page, and you will have to log into the site to register the chip. Fill out the form as complete as possible. The more information the better! Make certain you have all the information ready to enter, including your license information if you choose to include that.

Trophy Rack Track
Simple steps to install your chip.

Installing your Trophy Rack Track chip is simple and we include the correct drill bit and hot glue to make the job easier. We recommend installing the chip on the back side of the right pedicle. If your trophy is mounted just above the burr of the antler also works.

1. Drill a small 1/2" deep hole with the enclosed 3/32 drill bit.

2. Install the chip into the hole making sure it goes below the surface of the antler.

3. Warm up the end of the hot glue stick carefully. Dab it on the hole above the chip and rub it around a little.

4. When the glue has cooled scrape off the excess glue.

5. Record your information on the TRT form below.

6. Submit the form, It will be securely recorded on our site.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an RFID chip?

An RFID chip is a small electronic device that uses radio waves to transmit information. In Trophy Rack Track's case, it is implanted into deer antlers to securely store data about the trophy, aiding in identification and security against theft.

How do I track my trophies?

Once your Trophy is chipped you will keep the information in a safe place. The chip can be read by any RFID reeder. Most vet clinics have a reader that can verify the chip number.
